Kenyan Voices provides a channel and a platform for social change. Our goal is to have Kenyans living in the diaspora narrate their life stories in a podcast reflecting the journey they have traveled so far and their vision for the future. The topics to be covered range from Education, Careers, Health, Immigration, Investments, Politics, Religion, family and relationships.
Change begins with an individual. According to Mahatma Gandhi "We mirror the world. All the tendencies present in the outer world are to be found in the world of our body. If we could change ourselves, the tendencies in the world would also change. As a man changes his own nature, so does the attitude of the world change towards him. This is the divine mystery supreme. A wonderful thing it is and the source of our happiness. We need not wait to see what others do.”
By Nelson Mandela, South Africa’s first black president, Nobel Prize winner and anti-Apartheid icon.
No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite. Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. The power of education extends beyond the development of skills we need for economic success. It can contribute to nation-building and reconciliation. Finally, When a man has done what he considers to be his duty to his people and his country, he can rest in peace.
